Tutoring at the Rabat Academy:

The Rabat Tutoring Academy is looking for applicants who are passionate and enthusiastic about working with students ages 11 and up. We look for candidates that are "well-rounded" individuals and capable of working with children who need help in English, Math, Physics, Biology, and Chemistry, as well as foreign languages. We seek staff who are committed to integrity, quality, enthusiasm, exceptional service and teamwork. Applicants must be energetic, have a great attitude and enjoy working with young people in a fun and relaxed atmosphere.

Our learning coaches work from our location in Agdal, Rabat, in a relaxed, friendly, and supportive atmosphere.

Job Overview:

We are seeking passionate and knowledgeable learning coaches to join our team. As a Rabat Academy learning coach, you will play a holistic role, serving as a teacher, mentor, and motivator for students. You will provide ongoing, personalized academic support, offering constructive feedback and helping learners reflect on their needs and progress. In particular, you will help learners build self-confidence in their academic abilities and guide them toward reaching their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

Instruction: Provide formal and informal academic and organizational assistance tailored to the individual needs of each student. Support students' use of academy online and offline resources to help them become independent learners.
Assessment: Evaluate students and develop customized support plans guiding students to exceed their own expectations.
Engagement: Form personal connections with learners that go beyond academics. Encourage students to aim high and develop self-advocacy, time management, and planning skills.
Grading & Feedback: Provide constructive feedback to students on assignments and provide progress reports, helping students see and reach their potential.
Communication: Work in close partnership with parents and in collaboration with other tutors and school administrators to ensure student success.

Qualifications:

Strong subject matter expertise in one or more academic areas (e.g., Mathematics, Science (biology, physics, chemistry), middle and high school Language Arts (English), Social studies (history, political science, economics) or languages (ESL, Spanish, French, Arabic, or German).
Curiosity and willingness to learn, adapt, and think creatively about education.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Patience and a passion for helping students learn.
Team player with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Interest in and willingness to implement project based learning and use play (games) for learning support
Undergraduate and graduate students (including International/exchange students) in good academic standing as well as recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
